Local Donors and a Grant Helps Support Our Summer Programs

We’re Excited to Share Great News!

The Oak Harbor Public Library is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Summer Library Program grant. Thanks to a generous $1,451 grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services , awarded by the State Library of Ohio, we’ll be offering a variety of exciting, free events as part of our Summer Reading Program.

The goal of the 2025 SLP grant is to help libraries enhance their summer offerings with creative, engaging, and educational programs that serve people of all ages and strengthen community connections. To help make this possible, the grant includes a 25% matching requirement, which the Library will contribute. We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to share a summer full of imagination, learning, and fun with you!

Many thanks also to our generous local donors: St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Pisanello’s Pizza, and Subway.
