The Friends of the Oak Harbor Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization of patrons who believe that a dynamic library is a crucial factor in our community's vitality. Through volunteer efforts, membership dues, book sales, and other fund raising activities, the friends support the Summer Reading Club and sponsor programs and services that otherwise might not be available at the library. You are invited to join the Friends of the Library. Memberships are available at the main desk. Ask library director about volunteer opportunities.
The Oak Harbor Public Library, established in 1908 by the Oak Harbor Literary and Social Club, is a municipal library serving the Benton-Carroll-Salem School District. Monday - Thursday: 9:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday*: 1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m.
*Closed all Sundays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend
Sunday hours resume the Sunday after Labor Day weekend
